2. Eyelet curtains
When you already have a rod installed, the easiest curtains to put up are eyelet curtains. These curtains have ringed holes that make it easy to slip over the rod. These are ideal for light to medium weight fabrics and you can easily shop for them at your favorite home depot. These curtains are ideal for a contemporary design.
3. Draperies
This type of window treatment usually made of more heavy- weight fabric. Decorator fabrics made for the interior design use come in more substantial weight. These are both created for aesthetic value as well as durability. These can also be found as thermal backed or lined, depending on the manufacturer. Draperies are becoming more popular, and it’s easy to find open weave fabrics, tab-tops and other more casual styles as well.
4. Tab Top curtains
These are similar to the eyelet curtains but also have fabric loops at the top, that fully cover the rod. These can only be hung on a rod. Tab tops are also considered an informal and easy style of curtain, suitable for all weights of fabric. Tab tops are admired for their characteristic repetitive folded appearance.
